Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 23, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how KazTrack ("KazTrack", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you use our website (kaztrack.com) and application (app.kaztrack.com), together the "Service". By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information. Your name, email address, and authentication details when you register or sign in.
  • GitHub authorization. When you connect GitHub, we store the access token or personal access token (PAT) you provide, encrypted at rest, so we can read and update your repositories, pull requests, issues, and labels on your behalf. We only request the scopes needed to operate the Service.
  • Workspace content. The projects, pull requests, issues, sprints, milestones, test cases, documents, comments, and working-time entries you create or import.
  • Billing information. Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider (Paddle), which acts as the merchant of record. We do not store full card numbers; we receive limited billing metadata (such as plan, status, and country) needed to manage your subscription.
  • Usage and device data. Log data, IP address, browser type, and basic analytics used to operate, secure, and improve the Service.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
  • To sync your project data with GitHub at your direction (e.g. applying workflow labels, posting PR comments);
  • To process subscriptions, invoices, and payments;
  • To communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates;
  • To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, and security issues;
  • To comply with legal obligations.

3. GitHub and other third-party services

KazTrack is a GitHub-native product and relies on the GitHub API to read and write your data on GitHub. Your use of GitHub through KazTrack is also subject toGitHub's privacy statementand terms. Data we display from GitHub originates from GitHub and is governed by your GitHub account settings and permissions.

We also share limited data with service providers that help us run the Service, only as needed:

  • GitHub — repositories, pull requests, issues, and labels you choose to connect.
  • Paddle — subscription billing and payments.
  • Laravel Forge / xCloud — optional deployment integrations you explicitly trigger.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store and serve your data.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate core features, and may use limited analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may break parts of the Service.

5. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete your content or request account deletion, after which we remove or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as financial records).

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption of sensitive credentials (such as GitHub tokens) at rest and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You can also disconnect GitHub at any time from your account settings, which revokes our stored token.

8. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-app.
